600km Audax - Sleep is Overrated (Or So I Thought)

This is my journey through the 9 Counties Audax — a 600km endurance ride starting at 6am and finishing the following day, after a brief van sleep around midnight.

From rolling out in the calm of early morning to battling a relentless headwind on the return from the Humber Bridge, this ride tested every part of me. Long hours, fading legs, and the quiet roads of rural England — this is the reality of ultra-distance cycling.
