A comparison of the Royer R-121 and R-10 ribbon mics recording electric guitar.
All samples were recorded using a loop pedal to ensure that playing was identical and mic placement was as close as possible to the same. Both mics were recorded with an Apogee Element 88 interface with no post processing.
