If you have a 'battery missing' or 'battery fault' message on your Scantronic alarm or if your alarm is beeping, then you need to change your alarm battery.

To change the battery in your EATON Scantronic 9651 / 9751 alarm, you first need to remove the cover of your main alarm panel by unscrewing the two screw on the the front of the panel. The alarm will then sound. To silence the alarm enter your 4 digit user code.

Replace the old Scantronic battery with a new battery and replace lid. At this point you may discover you need an engineer reset code.
