🫖Meet the Tea Leaves: Mama Chai and her 6 kittens. Chai is a ginger and white, polydactyl cat, who is approx. 2 years old. Chai arrived heavily pregnant from a shelter on 3/20.

Earl - Buff ginger (M) poly (7 each on front, 5 each on back), brown collar - ADOPTION PENDING
Matcha - Gray tabby (F) poly (7 each on front, 5 each on back), yellow collar - ADOPTION PENDING
Dandelion - Dilute calico (F) poly (6 on left, 7 on right front, normal back), pink collar - ADOPTION PENDING
Tetley - Brown tabby (F) normal, red collar - ADOPTION PENDING
Ceylon - Gray tabby (F) normal, white collar - ADOPTION PENDING

Chai - ginger and white, polydactyl mom (6 toes each front foot, back: 4 left, 5 right)

Mama Chai is being fostered separately to her kittens, so she can receive treatment for pain from a leg injury that she had prior to arriving pregnant at KKP. The medicine she needs to take is not kitten-safe.

Chai tea is an aromatic beverage that blends black tea with various herbs & spices. The most common spices used are cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove, black pepper & star anise.
Snapple, a portmanteau derived from the words snappy and apple, is a brand of tea & juice drinks in the US.
Earl Grey tea is a tea blend which has been flavored with oil of bergamot (orange).
Matcha is a type of powdered green tea that has a unique, non-bitter taste, an earthy, umami flavor and vibrant green color.
Dandelion tea is made from the leaves, flowers & ground roots of the dandelion plant. The stem is too bitter to use.
Tetley is a popular brand of English tea, which was founded in Yorkshire in 1837.
Ceylon tea is a type of black tea that originates from Sri Lanka.

We support the tremendous effort of animal rescues around the globe. That said, it can be confusing to Kitkat Playroom viewers when someone discusses cats from another cam. Moderators will use their discretion and may remove posts that confuse the chat.
IGNORE trolls. Trolls are bored, sad people who intentionally try to upset you with antagonizing messages. They want you to respond. They go away if you ignore them.
Non-positive comments about snugglers/persons on-cam, will not be tolerated in any form. They selflessly offer their time and deserve the utmost respect. Negative comments might earn you a timeout or even ban.
