MCX to Baguio Joyride (August 20, 2025)

Here's the northbound joyride from the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway all the way to Baguio City.

My Observations:
Smooth driving remains comfortable as usual
The posts are visible for the connection from Skyway Stage 3 to NLEX Connector, which is expected to open by December 2026
San Miguel Corporation needs to build additional on and off-ramps with a direct connection from Skyway Stage 3 to Quezon Avenue, allowing motorists to avoid Araneta Avenue
The unfinished NFEX Interchange (renaming to Bocaue-Balagtas Interchange) needs to be fully completed as the replacement of the existing Bocaue Interchange, which will serve Bocaue and Balagtas, Bulacan.
SMC needs to construct the Northbound ramps for the Tarlac Interchange to replace the existing ramps from SCTEX, which will only serve CLLEX
New street lights are installed along TPLEX in the carriageway between the interchanges
Like other SMC Expressways, TPLEX does not have Emergency telephone boxes like the ones on all MPTC Expressways; they need to add more telephone boxes
TPLEX is also poorly maintained
In Binalonan, Pangasinan, a separate interchange will be built for the Pangasinan Link Expressway linking TPLEX to Western Pangasinan. It will be built a few meters north of the Binalonan Interchange
This is the point when TPLEX is extended up to San Juan, La Union, and hopefully Laoag, Ilocos Norte. The direct trumpet interchange will be built as the Rosario Interchange
The Rosario rotonda is better than the Mamplasan rotonda
