Cosplay Worklog // Prompto #2 : Plaid Undershirt & Creating Patches [FFXV]

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay on this video but I had some hiccups with the supplies I needed. Originally I was going to break these parts up differently but due to the fact I'm still waiting on studs & some custom printed fabric I rearranged everything! Quite honestly I like the new order much better anyway! Sorry some of these clips are a little dark, I did a lot of this work at night!

Prompto's plaid undershirt is treated like a sort of lining to the vest per the official Roen photos, so that's what I went with! But you can create it and attach it any way you'd like. I just prefer it like this!

As for the patches- I know not everyone has an embroidery machine to create them. To be honest this is only the 2nd time i've used it for cosplay in like 2 years so it definitely isnt a necessary investment. But don't fret! Here are some other ways you can create your own patches:

▶ Easy, Fast & Cheap Method:
Design your images & print them on to iron on transfer paper. Iron them on to the vest and then stud away! If you cant design them yourself just do a google image search and you will find a really nice set of vectors made by 'Hitorishin' on tumblr. Their designs seem to be widely used among Prompto cosplayers.

▶ Easy & Pricey Method:
Purchase them as a set off of etsy! There are several sellers who offer the full set of patches. These are a little pricey and range from around $3 per patch to around $150 for the full set.

▶ Slow & Pricey Method:
Have them commissioned! There are several embroidery websites you can get real patches commissioned through, all you need to do is present them with the designs! This is good if you want real patches made from your own designs vs. the ones already offered through the previous option.
