Modifying a Newport Vessels Smart Battery Box- add an Atwood Trolling Motor Plug and a charging port

NOTE: In the first 40 seconds of my video I stated that the NV smart battery box cannot be charged through the external battery connections. I have since learned that this statement is incorrect as pointed out in the comment by Newport Vessels. I apologize for this and am attempting to correct the audio to reflect the correct information.
A lot of my clients are just getting started kayaking and can’t afford all the bells and whistles.
I found that I can modify this box to make it suitable for them without breaking the bank.
Here, I take a Newport Vessels battery box and add a few items. I add a charging port as well as an Atwood trolling motor plug to make it plug and play.
It will support cell phone charging, fish finders of any size, and a trolling motor depending on the size battery they choose. Newport includes a 60amp inline circuit breaker and both the wing nut lugs and the Atwood plug I install work off of the same circuit breaker.
