Circa 1999, John Williams commissioned Angela Morley to arrange five selections for the Boston Pops Orchestra and violin virtuoso, Itzhak Perlman. This selection was one of the five arrangements done by Morley.
I’ve adapted this arrangement (by ear) for organ and it is played “live” on the Paramount Organ Works 450 Virtual Theater Pipe Organ. The pipe organ is also capable of adding sounds via MIDI. I’ve added the orchestral harp from Garritan’s Personal Orchestra 4.
The arrangement of this Max Steiner classic movie composition can be heard in its original form on the CD, Cinema Serenade 2.
