My family loved this beautiful fort in North Kerala - BEKAL FORT

While we had my mom visit our home in India, we were really excited to explore Kerala with her. One place we took her to see near our Kannur home was Bekal Fort, which even Vinod and I visited for the very first time after 4 years living in Kerala. I thought we'd see a typical Indian tourist site/fort, with huge crowds, noise, litter and bricks, but Bekal fort was not at all what I expected. It was one of the best family outings we had in Kerala :)
