I rarely watch the news…having said that, it’s hard to ignore how shocking and saddening certain events are…and there seems to be way too much of it happening…unnecessary violence…it maddens me and saddens me…and my anger feeds into using my voice as a songwriter if nothing else…this song is about the ‘heightened’ place we may be living in, being ‘on edge’ - both individual and global traumas have a lasting and significant impact - both need addressing - the sooner the better.
