Can You Feel The Love Tonight was written and composed by Elton John and Time Rice for the 1994 Disney Animated feature film The Lion King. Later in 1997 The Lion King was adapted for the Broadway stage by Disney Theatricals with Can You Feel the Love Tonight as a featured song in the musical. Lion King is currently the longest running Disney musical on Broadway.
