Actor, writer, illustrator, textilist, ceramicist, known for her charitable work, and most recognisable for playing the second incarnation of companion Romana, alongside Tom Baker’s Doctor Who.

Now, before moving to Hong Kong, Lalla Ward has agreed to this rare and extensive interview, to celebrate forty years of Romana II and raise money for Denville Hall, the retirement home for actors and theatre professionals.
