The Shanghai Maglev Train Line starts from Longyang Road Station of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 2 in the west and ends at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in the east. The line is 29.863 kilometers long and takes 8 minutes one way. It is the first high-speed maglev train in the world to be put into commercial operation, with a designed maximum operating speed of 430 kilometers per hour.
