Once opening a music box the ballerina emerges from her loneliness and shares her love for dance. She steals the limelight and dances for the one she loves. Plié, entrechat, jeté, tour en l’air. Ballet carries you into the world of dreams.

Welcome to Celia Kritharioti Couture AW2019- 2020 Collection, an invitation to a unique ballet performance. Celia reflected back into her childhood and her music box and laced the collection with the feelings of happiness and innocence. Ballerinas in high heels, wearing handmade shimmering gloves take over the catwalk. Full skirts in nude, grey and black, bodices that are hand embroidered to perfection, floor length as also little dresses. Silk tulle and lace, organza and velvet appear on the catwalk, while pearls create the central theme in the Collection. Ostrich plumes, one of the designers favourite materials, are reintroduced in this Collection, creating her signature trademark.

This Collection is an ode to craftsmanship, an apotheosis of femininity and grace that the House of Couture has served since 1906. As the music box closes, the melody continues to play and the ballerina awaits her prince to dance.
