"Stunning porcelain pots have always been an important element in room decoration. Because pots an have delicious shapes in silhouette, they make gorgeous design motifs, either as a simple flat depiction or as shade renderings. Blue and white pots feature in Chinese wallpaper, on screens, in great tapestries and paintings. Enthralled by them myself, I have collected pots of all sorts for many years. I started with shades of white pots, then I broke into oriental pattern-on-pattern in my painting and designing.
