About the spaceport:

The Night City International and Translunar Spaceport (NCX) is a spaceport and airport located on the island of Morro Rock in Del Coronado Bay, to the west of Night City.

Owned by Orbital Air, NCX is the largest spaceport on North America. With more than 100 million passengers a year, it offers more than 80 destinations around the world, as well as flights to the Moon and the nearby space stations. The spaceport is outside of the Night City jurisdiction and is considered a neutral zone, as such, only international laws apply.

Prior to Patch 2.0, the spaceport is called Orbital Air Space Center. Starting from Patch 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, the spaceport has been renamed as Night City International and Translunar Spaceport, or shortened to NCX Spaceport.

The pre-patch 2.0 spaceport had four runways and one rocket launch pad, and the overall land mass is significantly larger. After Patch 2.0, the spaceport area was drastically reduced. There is now just a single runway, but the launch pads have been increased to three, but now located a bit offshore south of the spaceport. The newer spaceport also has a larger terminal building complex.

In Patch 2.0, the spaceport is inaccessible and is low-resolution. Starting in Phantom Liberty, the graphics quality has been significantly enhanced, several buildings have interiors, and the spaceport is now accessible.

Construction of the spaceport began in the 2040s, and enhancements were made in the 2070s.

About the game:

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt RED. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

The game is a continuation of the events of Cyberpunk 2020, taking an alternate path to that of Cyberpunk V3.0. The game is set in the dystopian metropolis of Night City and in the Free State of Northern California. Night City is located south of San Francisco around the area of Morro Bay, CA.

The game follows the story of V — a hired gun on the rise in Night City, the most violent and dangerous metropolis of the corporate-ruled future.
