Dr. Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Genesis in this sermon on Genesis 29:1-30 entitled, "Making Sense out of a Mess."
Sometimes, in our limited vision, life can look like a mess. We can’t make sense out of it no matter how hard we try. However, that’s not true with God, who knows all things and is sovereign over all things. God is always accomplishing more than we are aware of.
“The heart of a man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). It’s such a relief to know that God has sovereignly ordained our steps. So then, we can have peace even when we don’t understand where we’re walking or why we’re going through something difficult.
The following is a sermon from Genesis 29:1-30 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
