My first long-distance hike took me to Portugal! There I hiked the Rota Vicentina, combining stages of the Historical Way and the Fishermens Trail. In total I covered 230 km in 12 days. I spent the nights in tents, hostels, youth hostels. In addition to the beautiful nature that I was able to marvel at during the hike, there were also many nice encounters with the locals, who were always very interested when I hiked through the small towns with my big backpack.
In this video I summarized the first four days of my hike. Included are the stages of:
Santiago do Cacem - Vale Seco
Vale Seco - Cercal do Alentejo
Cercal do Alentejo - Porto Covo
Porto Covo - Vila Nova de Milfontes
