The conversation covers what he says is the compromised nature of the Election Commission, Malik's tenure as governor, his accusation that 40 CRPF jawans were killed in Pulwama in 2019 because Modi and his government were not concerned about the threat from terrorists, the controversy over the abrogation of Article 370, the government's intolerance of dissent in parliament, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's attempt to claim the mimicry he was subjected to was an insult to all Jats. Malik, who is himself a Jat, says his community has seen through this game because 'ek jhuka hua Jat, ek tooti khaat, kisi kaam ke nahin' – that Dhankhar had betrayed his people by surrendering to the government's anti-farmer policies.
