The build continues! In Episode 2, Phase 2 of Koryn’s Construction, we’re making major progress—getting our foundation set, handling concrete work, and finishing our 500-foot driveway!
We worked closely with the concrete contractor and plumber to integrate rough plumbing, ensure footings were done right, and complete the foundation pour. One lesson learned? Always stay updated on local codes and inspections—in my city, foundation inspections happen before the pour (a pro tip for anyone building!).
For the driveway, we opted for blacktop instead of concrete or gravel. It takes 60-90 days to fully cure, but for our space, it’s the best choice.
