8The Kalyan Ring Road and Kalyan to Titwala Ring Road projects aim to improve connectivity between urban and rural areas by creating a seamless transportation network. Here's an overview:

Kalyan Ring Road Project

Objective: To ease traffic congestion and connect key areas in Kalyan, Dombivli, and Titwala.

Project Status:

Phases 4, 5, 6, and 7 are 95% complete and operational.

Phase 3, which spans from Mothagaon Bridge to Govindwadi Road, is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by 2026.


Phase 3 Details:

Length: 5.86 km

Estimated Cost: ₹598 crore

Implemented by: Rithwik Projects

Expected Completion: 20th September 2026



Challenges and Slow Progress

Despite the progress in some phases, reports suggest that the overall development has been slow.

For example, in 11 months, only two railway overbridges (ROB) have been completed, and there has been minimal progress on the remaining 30 km stretch of the road.
