How to get a service dog // the right way

I often get asked “how do I get a service dog?”. People always tell me that they or someone they love would benefit from a service dog. So I wanted to make this video to share the things you can do to get closer to getting/ training a service dog. I have also met people who tell me that they have a service dog and they got it registered online. so I wanted to make this video to share the correct way to get a service dog. I hope this video helped anyone who is trying to navigate the confusing world of getting a service dog.

The service dog laws are still confusing to service dog handlers... even me! I was wrong in the video, the ADA DOES NOT require you to have a dc note for a service dog. Although many programs will require a doctors note, and to go on an airplane they can ask for a dc note for a psychiatric service dog.
