Installing the Aoocci / AOCI C3 was actually fairly easy to be honest.

The air box on the Xadv is simple enough to remove, with 2 body bins and 2 5mm allen bolts. There are 2 cables to unplug, then that whole part can be put to one side.
With the seat open, you are then able to remove the side panel with just 1 body pin and 1 5 mm allen bolt. There is then another 5 mm bolt to be removed on the upper part of the side fairing, that then allows access through the tunnel to the front.

Feed the wires through ( in my case I had made a hole for a previous wire to be chased through ) one can connect to the black terminal on the battery (black to black) and the red wire can then be connected to any of the power feeds off the fuse box. I chose the front right relay, as this was the easiest to access.

Finally the C3 AOCI unit can be installed via the supplied all metal clamp. The position that you want is most likely achievable due to the way the clamp is designed.
Bolt the bike back up, zip tie the cable where it needs it (especially down where the steering is located)

Start up the bike, and you are basically ready to go.
