Our special guest on the My K12 Career Show is Dr. Wilnic Gideon. Dr. Gideon is the son of immigrants from Haiti and a proud Haitian-American from Riviera Beach, FL. He is also a proud principal with Everett School District in Everett, Washington. Dr. Gideon is passionate and devoted to serving all students. He has served as an Assistant principal at Interlake high school in Bellevue, Washington. Before then, for four years, he served as an Assistant Principal at Santaluces Community High School, a large comprehensive high school in Palm Beach County, FL. Dr. Gideon previously served as a secondary educator in the content area of mathematics and as a Dean of Students at Boca Raton High School.
Dr. Gideon earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Florida State University, his MBA in Financial Valuation from Lynn University, and his Master's and Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Lynn University.

Dr. Gideon has been involved with and chaired many educational committees throughout his career. He has served as a coach and mentor for the youth, created a back-to-school drive for students, an academic scholarship for students at Florida State University, and partnered with various organizations to create student opportunities. Dr. Gideon believes in providing an equitable education for all students and in teaching and leading with love, purpose, and joy. We are very grateful to have Dr. Wilnic Gideon on the My K12 Career Show!
