Beef Mechado
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs of Beef
1 Yellow Onion
2 Carrots
3 Potatoes (Yukon Gold)
1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. of Fish Sauce
Approx 1 - 1.5 cups Beef Broth
1 packet of Beef Boullion
Half a lemon
2 Bay leaves
1 can of Diced Tomatoes (450ml)
Optional: 1/2 cup of Red Wine
Serves 3 - 4 people
Pork Binagoongan
Ingredients:
1.5 - 2 lbs. Pork Belly
1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
4 Tbsp. Shrimp Paste
1/2 Yellow Onion chopped
450 ml Can of Diced Tomato
2 Bird's eye chilies chopped
1 Green Chili Sliced
1 Cup of Water
Oil
Salt & Pepper
Serves 3 - 4 People
Beef Salpicao
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of garlic (split into 2 parts, one is for the beef, the other is for the topping)
1 - 1.25 lbs of beef or any meat will work
3 tablespoons of Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Olive oil
small amount of butter
salt and pepper
Serves about 3 - 4 humans
Aligue Pasta
Ingredients:
1 bottle of Aligue (Crab Fat)
1 cup of heavy cream
2 Tbsp. of Minced Garlic ( Split into 2)
1 Lemon
200 grams of Spaghetti Pasta
1/3 cup of Bread Crumbs
1.5 Tbsp of Chopped Parsley
Butter
Olive Oil
Serves 2 - 3 People
