In this segment we provide a detailed interpretation of the Quran Verses (Al-Baqarah) 2:32-33, a continuation to the story of Adam.


This is Part 2.7 from the series "Why No Stories = No Quran?"

In this segment we deal with the erroneous story that Adam was the first human being: Why Is This Important? Many Questions Make This Story Important?
Many seeming conflicting or missing details in the different stories about ādam:
o Was he alone or with his “Zawj”?
o Was Shayṭān with him (or them) in Jannah?
o Was he in Jannah of afterlife before being lowered to “Earth”?
o Why did they have to cover themselves from the leaves of Jannah?
o Was he a prophet?
o Did he receive “Waḥy”?
Why is ādam not listed among the lists of prophets in several such lists such as Al-An3ām, An-AnbiyaaꜤ, Maryam, etc?
Why did the QurꜤān not tell us about “ImraꜤatahu” as it did about Nūḥ, Ibrāhīm, Lūṭ, Zakariya, etc., even if it did not tell us about other prophets’ “ImraꜤatahu” such as Mūssā’s, Hārūn’s, etc?
Why are there no direct link between ādam and the creation of human beings?



On this channel, we do NOT teach the (corrupted) Bible! We only teach the QurꜤān, using the Quranic methodology to extract knowledge from the Quran, exclusively!


Reminder: Do not assume into a story more than its composition indicates…
DO NOT START WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE QURꜤĀN TOLD US ABOUT ĀDAM BEING THE FIRST HUMAN BEING!
خليفة does NOT indicate ādam! It indicates “alternating stewards of the scripture”, which includes us right now!
The angels did not ask (in 2:30)…
The BaƐūḍah made a declaration (in the style of a question) as a challenge to Allahh, and therefore, they were not talking about ādam!
ādam is mentioned in a different aya, as a separate scene, as we shall see!

We rely on the organic Quranic methodology, on the Abrahamic locution, and on the nested interpretation techniques to uncover the meanings and indications of the Quran verses.

The conclusion: When the Quran Tafseer scholars decided to bring their stories form corrupted versions of the earlier scriptures, they misled the Muslims from engaging the Quran in the way that Allahh had instructed us to do.
