The fighting of the Second World War ended in Berlin a few days after Hitler's suicide in the Führer Bunker on the 30th April. Whilst the war for Germany would rage for less than two weeks longer, and the war in the Pacific would continue through the summer, for those that survived in Germany's capital, at least the bullets and bombs came to a rest.
Journey through the shattered streets of Berlin. A city decimated by British aerial bombs and Soviet Artillery as the Allies discover the ruined remains of a former glorious capital. Travel from the Olympic Stadium to Potsdamer Bahnhof, along the Landwehr Canal into West Berlin's Kurfürstendamm, Tauentzien Straße, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and into the Tiergarten and the Japanese and Italian embassies constructed as part of Hitler and Albert Speer's grand scheme for Welthauptstadt Germania.
