Aaron Stechauner - Bonnie the Cat - Porcupine Tree

It's about time I made a video in tribute to one of my favorites, if not my favorite drummer - Gavin Harrison! I have mentioned his name in almost every interview and questionnaire regarding my drumming background, inspirations and overall just top cats for me. Gavin is one of the most important influences on my drumming style and approach to the kit.

When I watch him now, I hear his licks and words in the songs I write and perform so clearly, and I am fortunate to have his unique flare and sense of rhythm taking a part in what I play. Especially with being a metal drummer, it has helped me stand out and create my own voice in a genre so different than his. Thank you Gavin!
