Perfect Alaska Staycation! Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge, Trapper Creek, Denali & Midnight Sun

It’s hard to imagine a better weekend getaway here in Alaska. The sun was shining all weekend, Denali was out, we got lots of reading and relaxing time, we got to experience a beautiful Alaskan lodge, eat great food, and just have so much fun together. It’s exactly what we had hoped this weekend would be!

Before we head home we do some exploring around the town of Trapper Creek, where I (Adam) was raised. We check out the elementary school, go to the location of my family’s lodge, the place I caught my first fish, an then go visit a memorial wall where I see so many names that I remember from when I was a kid.

Ending this weekend with very full hearts.
