16mm film of the 9th World Scout Jamboree held at Sutton Park between 1 and 12 August 1957. This was filmed by Mr. G. MacLucas and is provided courtesy of the MacLucas Family.
Sections in this film include the assembly of the structures, Opening Ceremony, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visit, Lord Rowallan, The Duke of Gloucester, various ceremonies, march past of nations flags and inspections. Also in this film is aerial footage of the site and various camp activities and displays from various countries.
Reproduced in the interested of archiving old film and available for future generations. No monetary gain has been obtained in the scanning and preparation of this content. I have all the original reels in my possession.
