Class 14s D9520 and D9529 are seen running services on the Nene Valley Railway on Wednesday 24th April 2019.
D9520 failed with a melted bearing on the third trip of the day, but thanks to the efforts of the crew and maintenance staff we managed to limp back to Wansford at about 2mph! Not all bad since I got to travel behind 9529 as well.
A most enjoyable day overall. Bonus footage of shunting at Wansford on the same day is included.
