ONE DAY IN TAIPEI (TAIWAN) PART 1 | 4K 60FPS | Incredible contrasts - nature, history & skyscrapers

Discover the fascinating capital of Taiwan with me. With over 2.6 million inhabitants, Taipei is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The city combines tradition and modernity, eastern and western influences in a unique way. Nestled in a river valley and surrounded by mountains, Taipei offers an impressive backdrop.
It starts with the view from Elephant Mountain, also known as Xiangshan. The panoramic view over the Taipei skyline is simply breathtaking and particularly impressive at sunset or dusk. After getting in the mood for the city, the following sights are among those that follow:
National Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall - A majestic memorial in honour of the "father of modern China", with imposing architecture and a spacious square that is often the venue for cultural events and provides a great contrast to the modern skyline.

Xinyi District - The financial district of modern Taipei with its impressive skyscrapers, especially Taipei 101, which was once the tallest building in the world.

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall - At the end of the first part, we visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. This impressive landmark with its characteristic blue dome and white walls is surrounded by a spacious square and beautiful gardens.
