Dr. Cristina Chiappini (Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam, Germania): In this seminar I will show the impact of the large datasets combining Gaia and spectroscopy in our understanding of the MW evolution. This will be illustrated with different datasets, focusing on how these can be used to explore a broad range of interesting questions about the Galaxy’s assembly. Moreover, I will describe what are the main ideas for the largest Gaia follow-up using 4MOST; the 4MIDABLE-LR survey.
