Looking for way to attach fused glass yard art to a rod? This bracket is simple to make using clear scrap glass. FYI: This is an updated version of a previous video.
MATERIALS:
1" x 1 1/2" piece of clear scrap glass
1/8" x 12" brass or steel rod
(I bought mine on Amazon: 20PCS 1/8 inch Solid Round Brass Rod Lathe
Bar Stock Kit for DIY Craft Tool, 3.2mm / 1/8 inch in Diameter 12 inch in
Length
scrap of thin fire paper or Papyrus paper
1 1/2" scrap of rod
cutting tools, glue for assembly, glue for attaching the bracket, kiln
TACK FUSE SCHEDULE (90 COE):
300º per hour to 1250º, hold for 30 minutes
600º per hour to 1325º, hold for 10 minutes
9999 (full) per hour to 900º, hold for 40 minutes
150º per hour to 700º, no hold
Let kiln cool
