One of the favorite games on SNES, and this game is actually 100% faithful in everything to the original game, mechanics and gameplay and how things work, with a few exceptions of things being patched up or gone over thoroughly that the snes had for glitches and such.
However during one of my recent runs, at about the 46 minute mark while repeatedly killing rabbits at the start of the game, i experienced a strange crash that somehow corrupted my save data, the result of which was a game that loaded but had a number of odd things, my lvl had jumped to 26, my gold was -1 and wouldn't move, and i had several weapons i shouldn't. This got my curious, opened a hex editor and started poking around comparing a new proper game file to the one that got corrupted.
In doing so and a little bit of the internets, i fleshed out a few of the hex values and dumped a new save file. This is the result, though i'm sure if i hadn't sequence broke the game, i wouldn't have soft locked myself at the hour mark.
