"Coral Musick" is the second book that Ann wrote and self-published through Amazon. It is the continuing story of the friendship of Annie Beth and Riley that was introduced to readers in my first book "Oatmeal & Lavender." Annie Beth is a 10-year old child who has experienced trauma in her young life as she lost her mother and grandmother and then went into the foster care system. She now lives with the Musick family in Finney, Virginia, in the Appalachian Mountains. Set in 1969, this story addresses friendship, acceptance, bullying, and autism through the eyes of a child. Told in the style of magical realism, animals have magical powers and play a special role in the story. Copyright 2017.
