Best Animal Day Ever 1292

It's an exciting morning in our house because we are all doing our morning routines really quickly cause we are getting ready to go on a little adventure! We are going to load up the Tesla and head to my dad’s cabin!! You know the one where we have seen moose and deer and foxes. Adley is brushing Navey’s teeth (you know wiggle tooth has to look out for the other kid teeth lol) while Niko is packing his bag and doing magic tricks. We head downstairs to our messy kitchen with its 7 cereal boxes out. It's been a good weekend!

In the car we have to stop in the middle of nowhere for a potty break and after, Adley and I start playing with the filters on our phones and tables. One has the car filled with water, another turns Niko and Navey in to the Hulk! Adley finds one that turns her into Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer from Christmas and another that puts insects and bugs on Navey. It's a nice way to pass the time till we get to the cabin. Once there, we say hi to my dad then get to explore our new house for the weekend. My dad just got a trailer and I’ve never stayed in one so this is a first for the whole family. We do a quick house tour before we start looking for animals and their tracks.

Jenny, Adley, and Navey are sitting on the poarch trying to get chipmunks to come by, when two deer walk out of the foods and head to the feeder. We want to try and see a fox so Niko and Navey help me put eggs out for him. I hope he comes soon. Niko Bear and Adley want to go on a bug hunt so we go for a little walk. As we leave, we notice a deer and a moose on the trail behind us. It’s sooo cool seeing these animals up close. Exploring the woods for bugs turns into a beautiful walk and when we get back, we find that Navey and Jenny are watching the moose eat his dinner. We hang outside, seeing if anything else will come out when over the hill comes a little fox! He runs super quick, grabs an egg and is gone. IT WAS AMAZING!!

We go inside for our own dinner, where Adley tires something new – tri tip steak. At first she’s not sure about it but then she tastes it and loves it! She eats tons and tons. While we eat we see the fox again! It’s like were eating together with him lol. After dinner, Niko and Adley grab their fishing pools so we can try and catch some fish. My dad leads us to a little lake and the kiddos try their luck. Niko is so happy catching seaweed while Adley is really hoping to get a nibble. She casts her line out a few times, getting close to a few, when all of the sudden her pole starts to bend. Adley caught a fish!! It’s crazy!! We released him back into the lake, but what a cool experience.

The next morning, we go for a family four wheeler ride, hitting the tails and driving through muddy puddles. We stop for a little adventure by a stream. The kids have fun playing in it, walking over the rocks and through the water. We decide we are going to try and make a dam, see if we can’t be a family of beavers.
