New and Improved Euro Rig & Leader Setup

A few people have asked about my rod and leader setup. I use a 10ft 3wt Orvis Clearwater rod and Lampson Liquid reel. I have recently switched out my euro line to a 3wt floating. When Euro nymping, I put approx 40ft of (Pierre Sempe Sighter-Indicator Nylon) with a loop to loop to the floating line. At the fishing end I use a surgeons knot to join the Sempe sighter nylon to approx 6ft of 6X flurocarbon. I then use sighter wax directly onto this tippet depending on the depth I want to fish.
Alternatively I have also used Amnesia Monofilament in the past instead of the Sempe sighter nylon. The amnesia can be a bit easier to manage if you haven't fished micro leaders before.
