🍽️ Restaurace U Dlabaců – Traditional Food Done Right

In this video, I visit Restaurace U Dlabaců in Prague to see how classic Czech dishes hold up — and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. From rich, flavourful drinks to perfectly cooked schnitzels and standout sides, this was an excellent dining experience.

Kozel beer – Smooth, refreshing, and just as good as remembered (10/10)

Apple juice – Completely unique flavour, rich and unlike any apple juice I’ve had before (10/10)

Orange juice – Equally distinctive, very rich and full-bodied (10/10)

🍟 Starters & Sides

Fries with feta cheese & garlic dip – Perfectly cooked fries, rich garlic flavour, and excellent ketchup (10/10)

Fried cauliflower – Crispy on the outside, tender inside; a real surprise highlight (10/10)

Homemade coleslaw – Light, oil-based dressing with great balance, not your typical supermarket style (10/10)

🍖 Mains

Pork schnitzel with chunky fries & gherkins

Lean pork, excellent seasoning, and a perfectly cooked breadcrumb coating (10/10)

Chicken schnitzel

Hot, crisp, and cooked exactly as it should be — faultless (10/10)

💰 Value & Final Thoughts

Total bill: 1,164 CZK

Tip: 15% (well deserved)

Everything was cooked properly, generously portioned, and full of flavour. This is traditional Czech food done with care and consistency — a place I’d happily return to and confidently recommend.
