Welcome to Part 2 of our summer motorhome adventure! After leaving Port Solent and crossing from Portsmouth to Caen, we headed south to our first ever Camping Car Park stop in a quiet village near Le Mans — thanks to your brilliant recommendations!

Les Prés de Touvois – Camping Car Park

We had the whole place to ourselves and explored the sleepy village, which felt like stepping back in time (but still had electric car chargers and even a weighbridge!).

Champ de la Chapelle – Pitchup site
📍 03360 Braize, France (In the Forêt de Tronçais)
A woodland gem with shady pitches, pool, bar, restaurant, and fun for all the family.
Huge thanks to Chris & Sarah for being such warm and helpful hosts. We truly loved this place and made new friends too.
