A week in Colorado before running the High Lonesome 100 aiming to get acclimatized to the high elevation. Featuring trips up Hope Pass, Mount Elbert (The tallest mountain in Colorado) and Mount Missouri and Belford (two more fourteeners). A great week with some gorgeous alpine terrain, worries about thunderstorms and saving a lady who got freaked out on some slippery terrain with deadly exposure.
