Next.js has two main rendering types: Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG). Even though both are powerful, they each come with their own pros and cons. Sometimes you may want to mix and match both on the same page, but for the longest time this wasn’t possible. With the release of Partial Pre-Rendering (PPR), we can finally combine them on a single page, literally making Next.js websites up to 10x faster.
