decided to give this series a shot over the summer break and joined there round 4 at karting madness bayswater.
We were all put into qualifying groups and sent out for 8 minutes sessions which would work out positions for Divison 1, Divison 2 and Divison 2B.
I haven't been to this track in about 2 years and tried get a practice session but was all booked out.
Most of my qualifying session I was hovering around 1st and 2nd positions and was holding P1 for the group near the end for few laps but caught a slower driver and got pipped for fasted lap for the group on the last lap or 2 and ended up P2 for the session.
After all qualifying sessions were done my time ended up being good enough to qualify for Divison 1 and started last in 13th place.
Was stuck behind two drivers for lap after lap couldn't get pass them as they were doing similar times but I was hoping they would take each other out and I'd finally get pass.and that's exactly what happened with about 6 or so laps from the end.
Ended up finishing my 1st VHKC round in 10th spot out of 39 drivers.
