Lab demonstration of Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation monitoring (QCM-D). QCM-D is used in a plethora of applications to measure in real-time adsorption on a range of surfaces and provide information such as thickness and viscoelastic properties of resulting film.
In this video, we demonstrate how to set up an experiment to measure adsorption of protein on gold surfaces.
