Draco Malfoy returned to Hogwarts to finish his 7th year. While trying to run away from the past, he ran into Hermione instead. It didn't help since his past feelings for her triggered some painful memories, but perhaps it's time to make new and better ones. One thing lead to another, and two most unlikely people might have became bestfriends.

i love dramione to bits y'all and didn't help that j.k rowling herself actually considered making the ship canon in hp. but u know, i can see her reasons and honestly, i don't mind this ship not sailing

i hope you guys love this so far! also note this AU isn't my original idea. I have read a LOT of Dramione fanfics where in both Draco and Hermione reattend Hogwarts after the war. In my version, I didn't include Harry and Ron since i decided to go for the headcanon where they took the offer for Auror Training instead of going back to school. I can't blame them lmao.
