Bloodborne is my wife, and there’s no better way of celebrating her beauty than examining Bloodborne’s superb final boss fight against Gehrman, The First Hunter. So that’s what I do in this video, which should honestly be pretty obvious from the title‒but I totally forgive you if you were at all confused about the topic of this video.

This video essay is a part of FROM SOFTWARE FEBRUARY, a month where I talk exclusively about From Software’s games. I’ve covered the final bosses of Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and now Bloodborne, and last but not least, I’ll be covering the final boss of Sekiro. That video won’t be out in February, but it should be out within the first few days of March. My silly goose of a brain decided it was a good idea to release four videos in the shortest month of the year, but my awesome goose of a brain also made this video, so I’d say it evens out.
