Baldwin 26 moved from shop for new location in round house.
The Baldwin steam engine #26 is a historic locomotive currently housed at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Here's a bit about its fascinating story:
Baldwin #26 is a 0-6-0 "switcher" steam locomotive, built in March 1929 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Eddystone, Pennsylvania. It was originally designed for switching duties, moving railcars and materials around the Baldwin plant

Specifications:
Driver Diameter: 50 inches
Boiler Pressure: 180 psi
Tractive Effort: 29,375 pounds
Weight: 124,000 pounds
Fuel: Coal
After serving at the Baldwin plant, it was sold in 1948 to the Jackson Iron and Steel Company in Ohio, where it continued its switching duties. Its operational history there is less documented, but it remained in service longer than many steam locomotives
In 1983, the locomotive was saved from being scrapped and eventually became part of the Steamtown collection in 1986. It underwent a complete overhaul and returned to operational status in 2016. Today, it serves as the primary steam locomotive for short excursion rides at Steamtown
