Now that I am retired I have more time to visit these places. I have lived most of my life in new mexico and had never herd the national antham engraned in the road. You have to be goign at 45 miles per hour for the tires to pick up the sound fromt he grouves cut into the pavement. The grove is only 4 to 5 inches wide, and when i drove it it was windy so it was hard to keep my car over the grouve. Its neat! I liked it. When i was younger and working I never had any time to hear these things or apreciate things.
