Harvey J. Kaye is the Ben and Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Democracy and Justice Studies and Director of the Center for History and Social Change at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He is an award-winning writer and has authored several books including Thomas Paine and the Promise of America. Follow him on twitter @harveyjkaye

Adolph Reed Jr. is a political scientist at the University of Pennsylvania. He is author of Class Notes, The Jesse Jackson Phenomenon, W. E. B. DuBois and American Political Thought, and Stirrings in the Jug. He has written articles for the Progressive, Black Agenda and many other publications.

Touré F. Reed is a professor of history at Illinois State University. His latest book is Toward Freedom (Verso 2020)
