On Tuesday 23rd December 2025, we visited Wolverhampton and walked from Priestfield to the City Centre filming trams on the West Midlands Metro.
Trams in service were:
18 19 23 42 43 47 48 49 50 51 52AD 53 54 55 56 57
Having crossed the Wishbone Bridge on its way in Wolverhampton city centre, tram 51 overshot the signal box and had to be reversed and then the points manually set to allow it to reach St.George's. By the time all of this happened, the next tram, and the one behind that, were waiting.
